By accessing or using SubScan at subscan.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
SubScan is a subscription detection tool that allows users to upload bank statements in CSV format to identify recurring charges. The service is provided free of charge and is intended for personal use.
You agree to use SubScan only for lawful purposes. You must not upload files that do not belong to you, attempt to reverse engineer the service, use automated scripts to abuse the upload functionality, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users data.
You retain full ownership of any data you upload. By uploading a bank statement, you grant SubScan a temporary licence to process the file for the sole purpose of detecting subscription charges. Raw file data is never stored. Only extracted subscription names and amounts are saved to your account.
SubScan is a detection and information tool only. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial advice. All decisions about cancelling or maintaining subscriptions are solely yours. SubScan is not liable for any financial decisions made based on information provided by the service.
SubScan is provided on an as-is basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.
SubScan is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future. Existing free features will remain accessible to users who signed up during the free period.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SubScan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the last 12 months, which in the case of a free service is zero.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.
